#300116 - These helms are formed from 18 gauge steel. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Each comes with liner. Perhaps responding to the formidable two-handed sickles encountered during General Trajan's Dacian Wars, the Romans added crossed steel reinforcements to this helmet. Hammered brass Luna motif makes this quite an attractive version of the classic Roman helmet. Original is shown on pg. 32 of "The Roman Legions" by D. Peterson. Wt. approx. 5 lbs.
